JSG OCEANA - PRODUCT INFORMATION

JSG Oceana glass sinks are made of high expansion Hard Roc glass, and engineered borosilicate glass that withstands thermal, mechanical and chemical environments that standard soda lime glass cannot.  JSG Oceana Hard Roc glass has a low Cofficient Of Expansion - 3 times less than soda lime glass.  JSG Oceana glass sinks are all IAPMO (International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials) approved and UPC certified, making JSG Oceana glass sinks an excellent alternative for residential, hospitality and commercial markets.  JSG Oceana glass sinks are scratch and stain resistant and thermal shock resistant - capable of withstanding repeated temperature changes between 0°F and 212°F without damage- and can be cleaned with any commonly used household or commercial strength product.  JSG Oceana is dedicated to producing innovative, trend setting products that are functional and visually appealing.  Over the years, JSG Oceana has introduced many new products for use with their beautiful glass sinks, including glass tiles, wood vanities with complementing wood framed mirrors, as well as glass dinnerware and giftware.

Please note that there may be a variation in color between the pictures and the actual product, as well as between products of the same color.  Each JSG Oceana glass product is unique, produced using a free flow hand process with multiple colors to achieve the final product.  Crystalline material and bubbles may appear in the glass, and should not be considered a defect of JSG Oceana glass products.

Glass Sink Transparency
Crystal, Crystal Reflections, Champagne Gold, Sea Green, Black Nickel, Gold Reflections, Green Reflections & Red Reflections have varying degrees of transparency.  Depending on how closely items are stored below the sink, those items as well as faucet and drain plumbing below the countertop or vanity may be seen to some extent.  These glass colors allow light to shine through if the purchaser wishes to place lighting under the cabinet.
Steel Gray, Slate Blue Reflections, Pewter, Pearl, Blue Reflections, Copper, 24K Gold & Platinum have an colored coating on the exterior of the sink that makes them non-transparent.  It is not recommended to place lighting under the cabinet with these colors.

Blue Reflections Coloration
JSG Oceana Blue Reflections has the most variation of color.  The multiple process used to produce this glass color results in a sink or tile with an overall blue, green or blue/green coloring infused with varying amounts of gold, copper and deep purple. This range of color can be seen in JSG Oceana's Blue Reflections Wall, which displays a Blue Reflections glass vessel sink and glass tiles.  Blue Reflections glass sinks have a shiny, copper colored exterior coating that gives the interior bowl its unique color properties.

Copper Coloration
When a JSG Oceana Copper Vessel Sink is installed above the counter, light surrounds the vessel.  So in addition to the dark copper coloring, a deep blue color radiates inside the glass vessel sink.  The same effect can occur when JSG Oceana drop-in and undermount sinks are installed, but to a much lesser extent.

Green Reflections and Gold Reflections Colorations
The production process used for JSG Oceana Green Reflections and Gold Reflections Undermount Lavatory and Kitchen Sinks results in a slightly different coloring than in the drop-in and vessels sinks.  To some extent, the sink shape determines coloration.  When Green Reflections is fused into an JSG Oceana undermount glass sink, the rim area becomes a darker and deeper green - nearly brown color.  When Gold Reflections is fused into an undermount glass sink, the rim area becomes a deeper red/orange color.

Drains for JSG Oceana Glass Sinks
JSG Oceana glass kitchen sinks accommodate any standard kitchen sink drain (basket strainer or disposal type).
JSG Oceana offers only soft touch pop-up and grid lavatory drains for use with their non-overflow bathroom sinks.  If you wish to purchase a JSG Oceana sink with an overflow hole, you will need to buy another brand faucet/drain assembly (most faucets come with a drain assembly for use with overflow sinks).  Please note the following information:

• JSG Oceana lavatory sink drain openings are 1-3/4" in diameter.
• JSG Oceana lavatory and vessel sinks require a drain flange no wider than 2.11 inches.
• The drain tailpiece needs to be 1-1/4" OD.

Sink Templates
JSG Oceana requires the sink to be in possession with the template before cutting the sink and/or faucet hole openings in the countertop.  If a customer insists on having a template before the sink is delivered, JSG Oceana requires a signed waiver.  Templates are only a guide.  For undermount sinks, the template allows for an overhang of approximately 1/2".  If a lesser overhang or no overhang is preferred, the sink itself can used as a template.

JSG Oceana Limited One Year Warranty
JSG Oceana glass lavatories and glass tiles are warranted free from manufacturing defects.  JSG Oceana LLC will, at is election, repair, replace or make appropriate adjustment where JSG Oceana LLC inspection discloses any such defects occurring in normal usage within one year after installation.  JSG Oceana LLC is not responsible for installation or removal costs.
Proof of purchase requires the original sales receipt from the original consumer purchaser and must accompany all warranty claims.  To obtain warranty service, contact JSG Oceana LLC either through your dealer or Plumbing Contractor, or by writing JSG Oceana LLC, Attn: Customer Service Department, 215 N. Implied warranties, including that of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are expressly limited in duration to the duration of this warranty.  JSG Oceana LLC disclaims any liability for special, incidental or consequential damages.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation or special, incidental, or consequential damages, so these limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights.  You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
This limited warranty provides specific legal rights as they apply within the USA, and other rights may be available, but may vary from country to country.
