Handcrafted Metal Product Warranty Information Handcrafted Metal, Inc. warrants all copper products for 5 years against defects in material or craftsmanship. All products are crafted by hand, and acquire their unique hand-made character via tasteful variations in color, texture and finish. Particular care is taken to strike the perfect balance to leave in these character variations while eliminating real defects. Therefore this warranty is limited to outright defects, and excludes character variations. Examples of conditions that qualify as valid warranty claims: cracked welds, incorrect dimensions, dents, shipping damage and fingerprints in the finish. Variations in character that do not qualify as warranty claims: color, lightness or darkness that is not exactly the same as shown in the product photos, variations in hammer and emboss patterns, change in color with use and dimension variations that are within 3/4" tolerance from published specifications. Please be aware that all rustic sinks and tubs have a finish that is by nature uneven and variable in color and pattern. In addition, the dimensions and consistency of shape can vary considerably. We offer these sinks and tubs with the view that these variations are part of the rustic character and charm, and do not constitute defects. Therefore, all sales of rustic products are made with the understanding that these items are sold on an as-is basis regarding all aspect of the finish. We will allow refunds and exchanges of these items strictly according to our refund/return/exchange policy. Finish color and pattern variations do not qualify as warranty claim conditions. We will not exchange or accept returns on these items at no charge. If the unknowns of these rustic characteristics are not suitable for your project, we strongly urge you to select one of our fine artisan products for a more consistent and predictable finish and overall appearance than is possible with rustic items. Handcrafted Metal strives to provide the highest level of accommodation and service in the industry. If you believe that you have received an item from Handcrafted Metal that has one of the listed warranty conditions, we want to take care of it. We will attempt to handle your claim by phone and email, and we may ask for photos to help us visualize the problem. If we can determine by phone or email that your claim is valid, we will make a decision whether to repair or replace your item. If we decide to replace your item, you will be responsible for re-crating or re-packing the item, but we will have it picked up and the replacement shipped back to you at our expense. If we cannot make a determination by phone or email, we will ask you to return the item to us at your expense. If we find that your claim is a valid warranty condition once we see it, we will reimburse you for the freight and pay the shipping for the replacement. If we determine that your claim does not qualify as a valid warranty condition, you will be responsible for the original freight, plus the freight for returning the item back to you.
